Darts and Stems Sizes

The measurments (length and Diameter) of darts etc on this site are subject to a tolerence variation of  + or - 1 to 3 mm to alow for slight changes in maufacturers production runs

Payment By Credit/Debit Card

We are the true dedicated e-commerce division of the Eagle Darts Group Established in 1977, accordingly all purchases must be made on line by either Credit or Debit card via the Protx secure online payment portal provided. We DO NOT accept payment for orders over the telephone (if you wish to order darts equipment by telephone or traditional mail order please contact our dart partners www.tommysdarts.co.uk  or telephone 01270-589500 and they  will send you a full colour catalogue of their products).

IMPORTANT: We never share or disclose any customer information with anyone outside our company / third party.

When you proceed to payments check out the the VAT is shown separately ie Goods with an advertised value of £12 will be displayed as Goods £10  and Vat £2 . Some clients have thought that this was an addition charge IT IS NOT. It is done this way so that the sales tax VAT can be easily removed from clients invoices when we ship to countries where VAT is not payable (any county outside the EEC).

If you wish to buy on line to get the Best Deals BUT do not wish to pay on line we have the solution. Place your order online to see the total value of your order including shipping – Proceed to the payments section (fill out the shipping details name & address etc.) – Click on the first Visa symbol and then Click Cancel. This will save your order in our system as a Quotation.

Then Telephone 01270 589500 (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday) and Pay by Credit/Debit card over the phone and Tommys Darts will process your order. We will need your Name and post code - Value of order- Date order placed. If you are member of the site the system will give you a Reference Number ORD****** ideally we would like this number also. (If you checked out as a Guest you may not receive an ORD number it’s nice to have it but we do not need it).

The Vast majority of the orders we process are sent by First Class Packet via Royal Mail. High value orders may require a signature on delivery. It is normal for orders to be processed and shipped within 24hrs of receipt. During the Peak Dart Season October to February this may vary slightly.

We have a contract post collection at 4.00 o’clock in the afternoon Monday to Friday, accordingly all orders received after that days post time will be sent with the next collection.

WE WILL SHIP TO THE ADDRESS WHICH YOU GIVE US, HOWEVER BY PLACING YOUR ORDER YOU ARE ACCEPTING THAT WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF GOODS IF ANY PART OF THE ADDRESS OR POSTCODE IS INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE.

DELAYED, MISPLACED OR MISSING PACKETS SENT BY ROYAL MAIL

On the day of shipping a shipping confirmation email will be sent to you, if after 7 days of receipt of said email you have not received your goods YOU MUST CONTACT US BY EMAIL to advise us of same.

In the very rare event of a packet being delayed or not being delivered we follow the time scales laid down by the Royal Mail for treating a packet as being misplaced and accordingly the replacement or refund of your order of the order.

For deliveries within the UK this is 15 WORKING days (excludes weekends and bank holidays) which is 20 days from the date of despatch from the date of dispatch and for overseas orders this 25 working days (excludes weekends and bank holidays) which is 32 days from the date of despatch.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you Email us AFTER the 15 working days to advise of none delivery any email you have sent to us prior to this date will be treated as information only and will NOT be treated as a request to replace your order.

BEST ADVICE IF YOU BELIEVE YOUR ORDER IS OVERDUE IS TO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ROYAL MAIL DELVERY OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY ARE HOLDING A PACKET THAT WOULD NOT GO THROUGH YOUR LETTER BOX BEFORE YOU CONTACT US.

In reality it is exceptionaly difficult to obtain any firm reply / information from Royal Mail once an item has entered the postal sysytem in the UK and unfortunately the information we can give you would be limited to the date we shipped the order. Far from satisfactory, I know, but we are limited to the information we can obtain from the carrier.

Orders Requesting Personalised Flights / Stems

All personalised items are printed by ourselves and are not contracted out. Accordingly we endeavour to ship all orders which contain personalised items within 3/4 days of receipt.

Out Of Stock Items and Goods Missing from Order

We endeavour to ship all orders as accurately and as fully as is possible, however from time to time we may have to substitute or duplicate a small item you have requested to facilitate the speedy dispatch of your order.(We will never substitute an out of stock dart set, but will notify you as we know for sure when we expect to be able to ship them to you).

Any shortages (goods missing from order not marked to follow) MUST be notified to us WITHIN 7 days for UK orders or 14 days for overseas orders, of the dispatch date , claims after this date will not be accepted

HOW WE TREAT AND MARK GOODS OUT OF STOCK ON OUR SITE

We mark or remove from sale any items where we do not expect delivery within one week. Goods we expect to receive back into stock within one week are left as active (may be bought), if you order goods where there is more than a weeks delay we will advise you accordingly (out of the 9000 items on our site we have never been out of stock of more than 8 items at any one time in the past 3 years).

Q. What are the shipping / delivery times .

( The delivery times given below are for guidence only and can vary depending on your exact location and your local weather conditions - local holidays  etc.)

 

A. We ship Monday to Friday ( Not at weekends or public holidays) order placed after 16.00 hrs are classed as being received the following day. (98% of ALL orders are shipped on the day we receive them)

     Delivery times  UK items are sent 1st Class Packet Post - delivery 1-4 working days

     Delivery time exports Europe all items sent air mail delivery is between 3-7 working days 

     Delivery time USA and Asia - rest of the World- all items sent air mail delivery is between 5-8 working days

Tracking - orders where £1.50, £2.40 or £3.50 postage is paid sent as air mail packet only without tracking

                 orders where £6.95 or £10 postage or more is paid sent air mail with Tracking (Tracking details are available after you receive you shipping confirmation email)

Returns

PLEASE NOTE ANY DARTS RETURNED FOR A REFUND MUST BE IN AN 'UNUSED' CONDITION ICLUDING THE PACKAGING. IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRY THE DARTS OUT DO NOT THROW THEM GROUPED , BUT USE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE BOARD . ANY DARTS RETURNED WITH 'CHIPS' (SHINEY NICKS) ON THE BARELLS WITH NOT BE REFUNDED BY OUR RETURNS SECTION AND YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE COSTS IF YOU WANT THEM RETURNED TO YOU. !!!!

All goods returned for refund or exchange must be received at our address within 10 days of purchase and must be in a new and unused condition which will include all the original packaging intact/undamaged and be accompanied by the payment receipt or covering letter. We strongly suggest that you make any returns to us by recorded/special delivery as we regret we cannot be held responsible for any good lost in transit to us.
Important we make a fixed £2 handling/restocking charge for each item that is returned to us for exchange or refund. Any refund will be made to the credit card from which the goods were purchased.

Free Gifts Supplied with Dart sets etc. must be returned along with the darts you do not require, if the free gift is not returned then the full RRP value of that gift will be deducted from any refund made.

For any goods we have sent out in error which are subsiquently retured to us we will refund the full cost of the goods plus the postage costs incured to the maximum value of the postage charged by us when we origionaly shipped the goods to you.

Cancellation Of Orders

If you wish to cancel an order you have just placed by email then such cancellation must be within 30 minuets of placing the said order. If you wish to cancel an item that was not supplied with you original shipment you may do so at any time and request either a refund or a suitable replacement item. PLEASE NOTE a cacelation fee of £1 or 3% of the order value,Whichever is the higher will be retained from the refund to cover the costs we incure from paypal or card companies.
